The Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo 2017
05 March 2017
The Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo 2017 took place at the picturesque Val de Vie Estate in Paarl yesterday, and in true Veuve style the event oozed glamour, class and sophistication.

For the past few months leading up to the Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo, I played around with the thought of wearing black. It's dramatic yet classic and can make a statement without trying to hard. This year I had the opportunity to work with the incredibly talented Cape Town Designer, Odette Gomes to create something romantic and sophisticated to suit the theme and feel of the day.
Exquisite black lace with embroided, hand-sewn red roses created a beautiful silhouette and the touch of hand-beaded crystals on the neckline is a signature Odette Gomes touch that added extra glamour to an incredibly sexy, sleek design.

With inspiration drawn from Dolce and Gabbana we chose the "more is more" approach when it came to accessories and added dramatic tassel earrings with a jewelled head band designed by Indian luxury jewellery label, Valliyan By Nitya Arora (available on Hauteedit.com)

Thank you to Odette Gomes and Haute Edit for creating one of my all time favourite looks at the Veuve! Already looking forward to the next one!
