The Cintron Pink Polo 2017
05 November 2017
The Cintron Pink Polo is an event close to my heart in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and Paarl was painted pink on Saturday, 4 November 2017 to celebrate a very worthy cause. The event celebrates survivors of breast cancer and their inspirational stories of hope, healing and triumph.
Hosted at the Val de Vie Estate, this year's Pink Polo was nothing short of luxury with attention to detail in every element from the food to decor and entertainment.

Fashion plays a big part at any polo event and the Cintron Pink Polo is no different. This event is the perfect opportunity to wear new Spring/Summer collections by local designers and I was pleasantly surprised to see how many guests supported local fashion designers with their outfits.

This was one of my favourite looks of the day with a new take on a pants suit. It's classic and elegant which is exactly what polo fashion should be.

TV Personality Mishka Patel and Radio Presenter Sechaba G hosted the event and kept the crowd entertained throughout the day. A highlight of the event was the fashion show by local designer Casper Bosman who is known for dressing our Miss South Africa!

A-listers Liezel van der Westhuizen and Maps Mapoyane opened the polo to kick off a 14-goal polo match between team sponsors Cintron World and Vodacom, respectively captained by Springbok players Leroux Hendriks and Tom de Bruin in a bid to win the coveted Cintron Pink Polo trophy. A draw ensued between the teams in a nail-biting match.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this event - as always, it was a great event to be a part of!
Looking forward to the next one.
