Kate Moss gives Marie Antoinette a run for her money
23 March 2012
Recently Kate Moss did a shoot at the Coco Chanel suite in the Ritz Hotel in Paris for Vogue US April 2012 Issue. We are use to seeing her in skinny jeans, leather jackets and combat boots but for this shoot she shows us her feminine side by posing as the modern Marie Antoinette, styled by Grace Coddington, fashion editor of Vogue.

She models in stunning creations from haute couture collections of Christian Dior, Alexis Mabille, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci, Balenciaga, Armani Prive and Giambattista Valli.

This 38-year old troublemaker suprises us by doing this shoot, lying on gold victorian style lounges, printed wallpapers and my personal favourite, the bedroom surrounded by Coco Chanel shoe boxes.

The headpieces are extrodinary and the ball gowns to die for...especially because they are pastel colours. The shoot is a piece of "fashion" art and I have not seen this kind of beautiful/classic shoot with someone so stunning in a long time. Just love it.
