Heinz Grown Not Made Food Garden Auction

Imagine a night filled with a red carpet, glamorous entertainment, SA's top celebrities, gourmet canapés and luxurious drinks by Cruz Vodka all for a good cause. Thursday night LUXO was invited to attend the Heinz Grown not Made Food Garden Auction at the beautiful Cape Grace Hotel and Spa. The aim of this event was to raise money to help children not only be part of a feeding scheme for food, but rather to teach them how to grow their own food such as tomatoes.

Art is something that is incredibly special and unique and that is why Heinz decided to raise as much money as they can by auctioning off specially itemised glass-blown pieces created for each special celeb with their own inspirational colours around the theme of growth, love and earth. Celebrities including host of the X-Factor, Cheryl Cole, Olympic Swimmer Ryk Neethling, Princess of Africa, Yvonne Chaka Chake, top performing artist, J'Something, Television presenter and business woman, Carol Bouwer, Top Billing presenter Jeannie D, chef and cooking presenter Jenny Morris, Television personality Lalla Hirayama, radio personality Ryan O'Connor and the beautiful Miss SA, Rolene Strauss.

The night was a big success and we are great supporters of this organization. Thank you to Jill Grogor and her team from Zebra Square PR for having us and for everyone who contributed to feeding hungry children!
