Demi Moore fragrance for Helena Rubinstein
20 March 2012
Helena Rubenstein launched her new fragrance "WANTED" and used Demi Moore as the face of the campaign. Demi has already been known for being the Helena Rubenstein woman for hair and skincare, and for this campaign they turned Demi into someone she's not a fabulous glam godess.
What caught my attention was not actually the fab campaign, but the ridicule behind these photos. This is not the first time photoshop transformed a celeb into someting incredibly perfect (remember the Adele Vogue Cover?) and in my personal opinion it gives women/girls/admirers the wrong impression and just makes most ladies doubt themselves and lower their self esteem.
Although Demi looks incredibly beautiful, we all know that a 49 year old woman has no chance of looking like a 4 year old girl with her porcelain, perfect skin.
I think people need to come back to reality and use REAL people to advertise their products because this fake photography would never fool anyone.
LOVE the idea behind the shoot - the godess look is so sexy!
