Cellarbake at Nitida

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than enjoying the beautiful views of Durbanville Winelands! Nitida Wine Estate is definitely one of LUXO's regular spots to hang out as it is the perfect place to relax, have fun and enjoy a glass of delicious wine. Nitida is also the first of its kind to host an event of bake and wine pairing, better known as Cellarbake at Nitida and LUXO was lucky enough to attend this sweet event!
Who would not like to start your morning off with a high tea and we were spoiled with decadent treats and exquisite mixes of flavours at Cassia Restaurant. From gourmet gorgonzola and pear tarts to salmon and cream cheese puffs, the list was endless of sweet and savoury treats fit for a king!
As if that was not enough of sweet delights, we moved on to the event that started with a glass of bubbles and I couldn't resist all the red velvet cake and tiers of beautiful baked goods paired with delicious wines. My favourite pairing of the day was the chicken liver pateé with orange and honey syrup paired with bubbly - definitely an amazing combination!





The event was a great success and something that everyone could enjoy with friends and family. Thank you to Nitida Wine Estate and Red Carpet Concepts for having us at the event and we look forward to having even more cake next year!
