Tiger of Sweden Opens in Cape Town!
25 October 2013
We shared the exciting news with you earlier this week about Swedish Fashion brand, Tiger of Sweden opening their doors in the V&A Waterfront and Thursday night LUXO was invited to attend the opening event hosted by Zebra Square PR.

Guests were welcomed with very interesting and unique cocktails, canapes and live entertainment while having the chance to browse through the store and of course admire all the fashion.

When I walked into the store, it felt like I walked into a very rich and sophisticated business man's closet as everything is perfectly set out and displayed from the ties to the shirts. Each section in the store is colour co-ordinated which makes shopping for something specific very easy. The design and outlay of the store is the first of its kind and the inspiration behind the design was chic and ultra modern which is definitely they way the store looks and feels.

Now the most important part - what do we think of the fashion!? Tiger of Sweden is high on trend, very unique and has trends in store straight from Europe. I love that there is a variety from formal to casual and that every piece has an edge to it. Their collection of jeans is my personal favourite and at Tiger of Sweden, they believe that there is no such thing as menswear jeans or womenswear jeans - if it fits your body and looks cool then go for it!

I am always looking to make my formal wear more interesting and for those guys who feel the same, Tiger of Sweden's suits is a breath of fresh air. It is diffrerent with that edgy Scandinavian touch and the way they style the looks is definitely my way of wearing it.

Ladies, Tiger of Sweden has a fabulous variety of shoes and accessories from heels to combat boots to the perfect clutch bag all stylishly put together in store and on display.

The highlight of the evening had to be when Liezel van der Westhuizen won a R25 000 voucher to spend at Tiger of Sweden! We are extremely jealous but at the same time very excited to see her in this Swedish label!

After the event we all had drinks at Shimmy Beach Club and I think this picture says it all.

Thank you to Jill Grogor for having us and make sure you pop into Tiger of Sweden sometime to get a good look at all the great fashion!
