Live, Feel and Taste Your Food at Little Saint Restaurant
18 September 2016
Cape Town's food scene has exploded with creative, unique and mouth-watering food spots and Little Saint in Bree Street fits this description perfectly.
Little Saint is a restaurant with a story to tell from the edible vertical garden displayed on the wall to fashionable artwork and rustic parts of history peeking through the design. After getting to know the space and the story behind it a little better through the eyes of owners, Chef Santi and his wife Dominique - I can definitely recommend Little Saint for a food experience rather than a quick meal on the town.

Everything sourced at Little Saint is organic and produced locally by smaller distributors. As Dominique explained, they try to support companies run by families or generally smaller businesses with a purpose (like Harvest of Hope for the veggies) and this way they can promote these companies and help each other in being successful.
After getting to know Chef Santi Louzán Fidalgo and learning more about his journey before ending up in South Africa, I "understood" his food so much better from the fresh ingredients and having each ingredient shine in a dish to the Spanish influence and of course, his passion for food.
