Camspbay is the perfect destination for a romantic lunch or dinner experience with that special someone. Every season there's a new restaurant on the block and this time around it's Bilboa Restaurant by The Kove Collection. 

Located on the Campsbay strip with uninterrupted sea views and contemporary, stylish decor Bilboa is the perfect spot for sundowners or dinner on a beautiful Summer's night.

The menu at Bilboa is known for the fresh seafood and Mediterranean flavours. Their attention to detail and deliciously balanced flavours brings a new level of sophistication to seafood.

During my food reviews, I prefer to try dishes recommended by the chef and of these, I can recommend the mussels for starters and the seabass for mains - absolutely delicious, fresh and the way seafood should be.

Crispy Prawns with Preserved Lemon & Chilli Pepper & Mussels with Israeli Cous Cous, chilli, fennel, garlic and Tomato Saffron.

Red Drum Seabass with clams, olives, tomato, garlic and thyme with crushed baby potatoes.

Trout with preserved lemons, spiced Cous Cous, Coriander and Sultanas.

Custard: Vanilla sponge, Honey Ice Cream and Marshmallow
