Dermaplaning: What it is and where to do it?
29 November 2017
All the beauties following me on the blog or social media will know that I have had quite the journey with my skin and that I've basically tried every skin care product possible to try and get my healthy, glowing skin back.
My skin has adjusted and improved a lot since moving back fom Dubai but with that came scarring, sensitive skin and a whole lot of other issues.
I've recently met with the amazing skin guru Andri Richter from Andri Richter Skin Academy and Clinic (who used to take care of my skin before I moved overseas) and I will be going on a skin journey with her Academy and Clinic to transform my skin to a point where I'm brave enough to go out in public with a simple BB cream!

Luckily skin care and facial care has changed dramatically with a great variety of procedures and treatments that can assist with any skin issues.
One of the latest treatments is called "Dermaplaning" and Andri Richter Skin Academy and Clinic now offers this treatment. Dermaplaning is a skin care treatment that removes dead skin cells and vellus hair, aka peach fuzz. To do this treatment, your therapist uses a surgical scalpel to gently scrape off any dead skin cells on the surface of your skin
It's a super effective exfoliating treatment that is painless, has no downtime and takes about 30-40 minutes which will leave you with an even, healthy glow.

The beauty of this treatment is that your hair will not grow back as stubble or grow darker. You can do this treatment every 2-3 weeks and the more you do it the less your hair will become.
This treatment was very enjoyable and the staff at Andri Richter Academy and Clinic are very skilled in this procedure. Since doing this, my skin is softer than ever and my makeup looks so much better - I highly recommend this is you feel like your skin is dull and needs a "pick-me-up".
To book your treatment with Andri Richter Skin Academy and Clinic, see their treatment menu HERE.
Thank you ladies for helping me love my skin again!
