When it comes to the Veuve Clicquot, the first thing that comes to mind is of course what to wear and the whole process of designing and getting your outfit together adds to the excitement of the day.
At the Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo this year there was Best Dressed Awards handed over to the Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Female and Best Dressed Couple. Celebrities and fashion designers such as Jennifer Su and Warrick Gautier looked for something different, high on trend fashion, sophistication and designs that made a statement in the crowd as fashion judges.
As most of you would know, I only work with young designers and my dear friend, Ricci JVR, top finalist to feature her collection in Italian Vogue, offered her expert fashion hand to create a nude and black lace couture dress for Ritza van Rensburg for the event and with this gorgeous design we won Best Dressed Couple at the Veuve Clicquot with our prize handed over by Jennifer Su.
The lady that stood out in the crowd, Gretha Scholtz, took the award for Best Dressed Female in a Gavin Rajah creation. The nude lace and mesh dress with solid gold detail and accessories were elegant, classy and very appropriate for the event.
Best Dressed Male (the one in the middle) went for a very modern look with his salmon chino's, patched jacket and of course the ever so popular bow tie.
