An Indian Food Journey with Sundoo Restaurant
21 July 2016
India has been on my bucket list for years and after having the priviledge to visit this incredible country, I fell in love with the colourful culture, the beautiful people and of course the cuisine.
Sundoo Indian Tapas and Bar in Sea Point, Cape Town took me on a food journey through India filled with amazing aromas, spices and flavours. If you are looking for a cosy date night spot where you can enjoy tapas style Indian food - then Sundoo definitely comes highly recommended.

Drinks: Mango Mojito(left) and Indian Apple(right) - if you love cinnamon then this is a great cocktail to try!
Starters:

Variety of filled samoosas: Chicken, lamb, sweet potatoe and pie (with truffle oil) - definitely the most interesting samoosa I've ever had!
Crispy fried South Indian spiced prawn chilli bites.
Mains:

Kerala Roasted Chicken marinated with stone ground herbs and spices.

Anjuna Prawn Curry: St Lucia South Coast School prawns cooked in tomato, onion, fresh curry leaves, coriander, garlic, ginger and chilli.
Dessert:

Flan Cheese cake with vanilla ice-cream
